This 2000 TV documentary got 9 million viewers when Ch 4 first showed it in April 2000. It is significant for including the only filmed interview with the prime suspect in the disappearance of Moira Anderson. It took a further 14 years before an announcement by the Lord Advocate – head of Scotland’s Legal System- named him as the man they would have indicted for her abduction and murder had he still been alive.
