In March 2021 the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF) partnered with Glasgow Initiative of Facilitation & Therapy (GIFT), to facilitate a series of creative consultation sessions with children and young people to get feedback on the Barnahus Standards document.

A programme of workshops was subsequently designed that gave children and young people an opportunity to participate creatively in a safe space and was underpinned by the United Nations Conventions on Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

This interim report presents some of the findings, feedback and recommendations from the young people who took part in the workshops and interviews so far, in order to inform and influence Healthcare Improvement Scotland and the Care Inspectorate with the development of the final ‘Standards’ document.
